affect the business of interior design in Texas.
TAID informs the public of the interior design industry's role in the
protection of the public's health, safety and welfare.
TAID keeps members informed on health, safety and welfare issues
through newsletters, focus groups, seminars and personal contact
TAID monitors the Texas legislature for all proposed bills that may
influence the way interior design products or services are sold,
bought or specified.
TAID monitors the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners
(TBAE) to protect the interests of registered interior designers.
TAID informs and assists TBAE with the creation of new rules that
govern the Interior Designers Title Act.
TAID supports TBAE in educating registered interior designers
concerning rules and their registration application.
TAID educates interior designers regarding their role in code
compliance and their relations with code officials and state
